Michael Honeysett has spent over 25 years in the life insurance business – on both the carrier and distribution sides of the industry. His experience encompasses both a corporate background, as well as an entrepreneurial one. Along with an MBA from the University of Chicago (2003), Michael holds industry certifications (CLU, FLMI) and numerous insurance licenses.
Mr. Honeysett’s corporate career started at Guarantee Trust Life in 1988, after graduating cum laude from Western Illinois University. He held various positions within GTL, culminating with the role of Vice President of Agency Life. In 2006, Michael began working at Fidelity Life. As Vice President of Sales & Chief Marketing Officer, he grew the company from a few million in annualized submitted sales to over $60 million.
In 2013, Mr. Honeysett founded Entrust Product Solutions recognizing the industry need for diversified growth strategies. Working with carriers, distributors and reinsurers, Entrust provides consultative services for sales distribution and product development. Entrust is also a licensed insurance agency, which provides its clients flexibility for compensation arrangements.
Darrell Johnson, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, has spent 14 years in the insurance and financial services industry. He has a unique perspective of product delivery having worked both the corporate and retail avenues of the business.
On the consumer side, Mr. Johnson specialized in the senior market as a Certified Senior Advisor. From a corporate perspective, he focused on developing sales organizations where niche products and technology drive revenue and profitability.
With Entrust, Mr. Johnson’s role is to provide dedicated execution relating to the company’s strategic partners. He retains his life, health and property & casualty licenses and helps sales organizations expand their processes in order to handle more placements. Mr. Johnson shapes new market initiatives and counsels insurers to additional verticals and customer purchases.
Mr. Panitch is recognized as a proven leader in the development and execution of national sales and marketing programs. His expertise has evolved in forming strategic partnerships with direct distributors leading to new channels of business and generating millions of dollars in placed premium.
Jason has also played an integral part in developing new products and technology leading to enhanced profitability. Mr. Panitch is a graduate of Western Michigan University and he holds industry licenses for life and health sales.
